Our manuscript on “Efficacy of different bagging techniques for the management of litchi fruit borer (Conopomorpha sinensis)” has been published in the Journal of Bangladesh Agricultural University. We have evaluated different bagging techniques solely or in association with conventional management practices to minimize litchi fruit borer infestations.

Presented in IP&A Seminar Series-5

I have presented our recent experiments on host testing, oviposition behaviour and gall-inducing behaviour of Notomma mutilum as a potential biological control agent of prickly acacia. We have modified and standardised the colony maintenance procedures in the quarantine facilities for efficient host specificity testing. For the first time, we have studied the life-cycle of N. mutilum and explained the gall-inducing and oviposition behaviour. We have also explained the factors which can regulate their potential as a biological control agent of prickly acacia.

Article published in the Journal of Biocontrol Science and Technology

Our research on oviposition and gall-inducing behaviour of Notomma mutilum on prickly acacia has been published in the Journal of “Biocontrol Science and Technology (Taylor & Francies Online)”.

For effective host specificity testing of N. mutilum, we have standardised the rearing techniques in quarantine circumstances and illustrated the factors necessary for gall induction and consistent oviposition behaviour on their host plants.

If you’d like, I’d be pleased to give you the complete version. Thanks.
